A couple of weeks ago I got an email notifying me that a dress that I had saved had come back in stock on NA-KD. Upon opening the email, I realised that this dress was one I actually had saved MONTHS ago when it first launched and completely sold out. So I instantly bought it because I knew I had to try it. And this NA-KD dress little did I know at the time would make my Instagram reel go viral.
(This is your hint to go follow me over on Instagram if you don’t already).
Now I have to admit, and from the reaction of the dress after several reposts of said reel, it is a bit of a marmite dress. You either absolutely love it, or you loathe it. I am obviously on the love end, however I know it’s not for everyone. Nor would you be able to wear it every single day.
But this dress is a gorgeous knitted maxi dress with a beige background and a black weaved set of stripes vertically down it. With cut out sides to accentuate your waist, this dress is perfect for dressing up or going out for bottomless brunch.
I chose to style it for more of a dressy occasion, so chose to match it with my gold embellished Zara heels, my Coach handbag, and by wearing my hair in a low bun. I personally loved this look and it felt so chic.
The reel styling the dress now has nearly 200,000 views and has been shared quite a few times by large fashion accounts as well. It’s been really weird knowing that many people have seen that reel (as well as some of the dated reactions). However it proved to me that this dress IS worth it. Because a dress that is talked about and creates conversation stands out amongst a crowd and is head turning.
I loved the stripes and thought they were very flattering. Let me know what you think below.Dress – https://www.na-kd.com/en/products/kimono-sleeve-knitted-maxi-dress-multicolor-1018-009195-0370
