Currently, I think H&M is smashing it – I did go into the store this week (multiple in fact), however, their online game for autumn/winter pieces is currently the strongest out there so might say. In the last week, H&M have been slowly releasing their transitional and AW22 pieces and I am obsessed. One thing I noticed more so in the store, is that there are a few recycled styles. For example, a jumper I bought last year has been released again this year in more colours. And one I bought nearly four years ago, again has been released for another year in different colours. What this shows, is that you will be able to purchase some new things from H&M for AW this season, and know that you will be able to get wear out of it year after year and it is timeless.
Now the trend for AW across a range of stores includes orange and brown pieces and this was more prominent for their in-store collections currently. However, a lot of my pieces below, are of course, neutral as that is my personal preference. However, there are some amazing pops of red in one of their most recent collections.
There are a lot of knits, focusing on quality and also longevity. Long cardigans are to be worn in multiple ways, jumpers that will last for years, and knitted dresses with a V-shape neckline. V-necklines are very in once again so you will be seeing more of these.
Take a look at some of my H&M New In Selects below and let me know which piece you love the most!
