Happy Friday everyone. Today’s blog post is devoted to one of my most loved wardrobe staples – the classic grey jumper. I couldn’t not do a grey jumper edit this autumn because I have recently got some new grey jumpers and also I think they are a wardrobe essential. They are one of the simplest autumn pieces to style, and they are a timeless piece of clothing that you can rely on year after year.

Up until recently I have actually ever only owned one grey jumper. This was from Primark (I think) and it lasted me at least five years. However I had to recycle it (I use H&M’s recycling scheme for anyone looking to do similar) because it started showing its age. I think I got candle wax on it that wouldn’t budge and also ink from pen – so I decided it was time to invest into a new one. I picked up one back in August preparing myself. This was from H&M, and sadly it’s now out of stock, but I loved the collared and v-shape neckline. It’s also a lighter jumper so perfect for the warmer autumn days as well as layering moments.

As well as this, Warehouse recently sent me this grey cable knit featured above. Another great wardrobe edition as cable knits are the epitome of those colder autumn days that lead into winter. It is also a darker grey than the H&M jumper so having the both is not only different but also gives you versatility to style these outfits.

From coated leggings, baggy wide leg ripped jeans, to leather joggers grey jumpers are really easy to style. I love a grey jumper with blue jeans especially because I often find they suit better than for example a beige or cream jumper. I also think grey jumpers can have a touch of luxury to them. Grey jumpers can elevate an outfit on the colder days and can be accessorised to suit any occasion.

I have left a selection of my favourite grey jumpers below that are on the market right now. Some personal stand out favourites includes the Berksha Collared Jumper on ASOS which is similar to my H&M collared jumper, and also the H&M basis knit jumper for only £17.99 as they are super soft and really affordable. I threw in a few high-end options as well if you are really looking to invest in your knitwear this season. The Acne Studios knit stood out to me because the boxy boyfriend style of the jumper – this and a pair of blue jeans and white trainers… perfect!

I hope you have enjoyed this grey jumper edit. Let me know which jumper is your favourite!
