Must Have Back To Office Looks

Now back to office working is becoming more of a reality here are some must have back to office looks for a wardrobe refresh.

Now back to office working is becoming more of a reality here are some must have back to the office looks for a wardrobe refresh.

With offices slowly reopening after the lockdown restrictions have ended, it is going to be a bit of a culture shock when it comes to dressing for the office again. Gone are the days of wearing your pyjamas all day and being able to work from your bed. We now have to make ourselves look a little bit more presentable. But because it’s been nearly a year and a half for some people of not working in a physical office, work wear that we once worn is now being made a bit redundant. Whether pieces don’t fit you anymore, whether you sold it second hand during lockdown, or if you just fancy some new pieces I wanted to search the shops and make some suggestions.

Depending where you work, office wear can come in a mix of forms. It might be jeans and a nice blouse. Or your might have a specific dress code. I have gone for a mix of more formal looks and then some casual options too. One of my favourites is the black blouse and also leather leggings as they are very versatile, so can be worn out of the office situation too. But also they are really chic. The headband is also adorable! The perfect accessory without being too much!

Also, I want to point out that the majority of the links used will be affiliate links. It just means that if you buy that product through my link, I will get a percentage of the money… helps me out. But it doesn’t make it more expensive for you, and it will be marked with an *.

Warehouse Multi Stitch Belted A Line Dress – £63.20 (on sale)*

The symmetry of the dress in the width of the shoulders and the width of the shirt, matched with the belt, is the ultimate dress to give you the perfect hour glass figure no matter water body shape you have. Minimal, but striking to wear once back to the office.

Warehouse Soft Shirt With Pocket – £23.00 (on sale)*

I am so tempted by this shirt. I can see this being the perfect shirt to wear for a Friday when you are planning to go and grab some drinks after work. Matched with the leather trousers on the model I think it is so chic but so boss like.

Missguided Cream Pleated Wide Leg Masculine Trousers – £22.50 (on sale)*

Missguided actually has some really good and affordable work options such as these trousers. I think some trousers like these are a staple in an office wardrobe as the ways you can style them are pretty endless.

Missguided Cream Rib Polo Button Knit Bodysuit – £18.00 (on sale)*

For the slightly more relaxed office, a polo bodysuit like this is a good option – especially for autumn or pre-fall because you might not need a jacket with this but if you wish to have one then its also really easy to layer.

Arket Relaxed Striped Poplin Shirt – £55.00*

I have a blue shirt in my wardrobe and its one of my go to looks for working from home. As I am self-employed I won’t be going bak to an office, however if I were then this would be a really good option. I love the blue because its a pop of colour to a minimal wardrobe (in my case anyway!)

Arket Braided Alice Band – £29.00*

I am loving this Alice Band! I think it is such a lovely but not over the top accessory. It will also be practical in keeping hair off your face when working so in my books it is a winner!

Mango Faux Leather Leggings – £29.00*

Leather Leggings are one of my go-to pieces in my wardrobe. Although I am really picky about the type of leather leggings that I buy. But I really liked the look of these because the seems are really flattering and also look more like trousers than leggings making them a work go-to!

Mango Asymmetric Stiletto Shoes – £35.99*

If you are more of a heel office girl than a flats then Mango have some gorgeous affordable heels right now. I thought these were just really sophisticated whilst not being too minimal.

Mango Lyocell Pleated Dress – £49.99*

I adored this dress. The camel colour is an autumn staple of mine so if you are in the office, working as a teacher or need a more formal/professional dress code I love this dress. Pleats never fail either!

Karen Millen Geo Stretch Jacquard Wide Leg Trouser – £87.20 (on sale)*

Let me tell you now, any jacquard or square prints are going to be really popular this autumn, so any trousers or items like these will be snapped up really quick. I thought these were nice as they are a statement piece, yet still keep things professional.

Karen Millen Geo Stretch Sparkle Jacquard Trench Coat – £207.20 (on sale)*

Back again with the Jacquard print I had to put this one in there because there is nothing better than a trench coat for your work wardrobe. Do you really have an office wardrobe if you don’t have a trench coat in it?

Karen Millen Sheer Stripe Knitted Jumpsuit – £75.00 (on sale)*

And finally I thought I would throw one in that’s a little bit different. This jumpsuit is such a cool option for more of a casual look. Match it with some black heels and a leather jacket and I think you’re good to go!
