I have found my new favourite summer wardrobe item. The knot skirt. Can we just take a moment of pause for it please. Because it is GORGEOUS. So I had to dedicate a blog post to the item that is the knot skirt and pick our a selection of skirts that would look amazing this summer.
When I first tried the knot skirt on I wasn’t actually sure on it because I have never worn a skirt quite like it before. However matching it alongside my Zara bodysuit I felt the whole outfit was just so flattering and an absolute dream to wear. I felt like I needed to just hop on a plain to Greece or Ibiza and live my best life. But the way a lot skirt sits just creates a visible V that creates the illusion of a smaller waist. And I am all here for the flattering styles. So here are some knot skirts perhaps you might consider trying this summer too. These are all pretty affordable too which is fab!

Zara Satin Skirt With Knot – 50% off £12.99
This ladies and gentlemen is the skirt I am showcasing in the photo above. It is a satin knot skirt so screams elegance and sophistication but I can see it being the perfect skirt to wear to a summer meal out or on holiday. I have dressed it up but you could wear a t-shirt and trainers with it to make it more casual. The only thing I will say is that it creases big time, however a good iron or steam will sort it.
Zara Printed Skirt With Knot – £29.99
If you liked my skirt, but are more of a colour person. Or if you have generally been loving Zara’s funky prints right now then this skirt is for you. I am not a colour person but even I am tempted by this skirt as it is just so pretty. It pops but it the right level of boldness in my opinion.
New Look Stone Knot Front Midi Skirt – £22.99*
This new look one is pretty much an exact dupe to the Zara one I am wearing. The colour is more on the warm beige side, however the front detailing is very similar. I think it is elegant and also is on sale so even cheaper than £22 so if you want an affordable option this is the one for you.
Missguided Lemon Ruched High Slit Midaxi Skirt – £24.00*
This is a bit similar to my Zara one, however it is more exaggerated in a higher front, and lower back cut. This midi skirt is made of a crepe material making is really light and easy to wear in the summer. I could also see it being a good skirt to through on over a bikini.
Boohoo Twist Knot Draped Midi Skirt – £15.00*
I would like to label this skirt ‘office wear with a twist’. And quite literally because the twisted knot front adds some allure to what would have been a black midi pencil skirt with a side slit. It really goes to show how the layering of fabric can make all the difference.
PrettyLittleThing White Textured Knot Front Midi Skirt – £20.00
I think this skirt is a really goos option for all shapes and sizes. It is really flattering on a curved body because it sits perfectly on all the right places, and you can wear a statement top and it not be clashing with the skirt. I chose a white one because the other more neutral colours are on the cream spectrum which I know isn’t everyones first choice.
Mango Knot Printed Skirt – £29.99*
The last one is something a little bit different. I opted for the same style but a floral print to change it up a bit. This Mango skirt is the perfect dainty summer skirt if you want a bit of a colour boost with the hint of lilac, pink and warm tones. The last one is something a little bit different.
