Wedding Season is upon us so here are some gorgeous wedding guest dresses that you could wear to someone's special day!

It is wedding season! And finally its wedding season that allows us to go to weddings that allow more than 30 people! Typically after you get into your twenties, weddings slowly start becoming more and more regular so investing in one, two or three dresses that are timeless are a good idea. That’s why I thought it was more than time to do a wedding guest dresses post.

I had my first wedding of the year Saturday just gone.Because restrictions for weddings have changed there were about 120 guests, and it was a lovely day that just felt normal. I wore an old Topshop floral dress and matched it with some orange heels, bag and fascinator. In fact, I loved this outfit and now I have the complete outfit I know I can wear it again next year. That is the good thing about wedding guest dresses – if you opt for something floral then you know there is a high chance you will still be on trend the next year.

I had a little stalk online to find some of this seasons offerings for weddings dresses. I thought I would select a range of florals, and then some alternatives for those who prefer not to go for florals. These will be all over on my Instagram stories at some point so if you find yourself wanting to know more then here are the deets. Also, I want to point out that the majority of the links used will be affiliate links. It just means that if you buy that product through my link, I will get a percentage of the money… helps me out. But it doesn’t make it more expensive for you, and it will be marked with an *.

Boohoo Satin Floral Cowl Flute Hem Slip Dress – £35.00*

This dress just transports me to somewhere nice and hot abroad. I love how this is a bit of an understated statement dress. It pops but also would be really flattering. I would match it with a pair of nude heels and matching bag for a bit of a subtle touch of accessories. Or for something bolder you could take the pop of orange and grab some orange accessories.

Boohoo Boutique Lace Plunge Skater Dress – £35.00*

For those who would prefer something black but sexy, then this midi dress is the perfect choice. Some people might think black at a wedding is a bit harsh, however I think you could pair it with some colourful accessories. But it would also look really glamourous.

ASOS Design Soft Shirred Waist Open Back Maxi Dress in Bright Floral Print – £40.00*

This is such a beautiful and stunning dress. I fell in love with the print and I think it would be a great investment dress as you could wear it during the summer for any occasion not just weddings. Super pretty!

ASOS Design Plunge Halter Cross Back Self Tie Pleated Maxi Dress in Orange – £38.00*

This is such a dream orange dress. So out there yet so gorgeous. I think this dress is one of ASOS’s best wedding guest dress they currently have. I think it is elegant and would look perfect with a tan. For those wanting one colour and love a bit of colour blocking this one is for you.

ASOS Design Soft Mini Skater Dress in Ditsy Floral Print with Eyelash Lace – £45.00*

An elegant and simple skater dress design is really flattering on most body types. This print is very much on the simple yet stunning vibes. Very dainty but very pretty with the lace trimming on the sleeves and the ditsy print. It is very Cath Kidson style print!

Never Fully Dressed Pink Leopard Clover Dress – £89.00*

If you want a bold dress for your weddings then I highly recommend checking out Never Fully Dressed as their dresses are glorious. Everything bold, bright and quirky yet I bet wearing one of their dresses you will get all the compliments. This one I felt was one of the more understated ones with the lighter pink shade.

River Island Pink Ruffle Cross Front Maxi Dress – £65.00*

This layered style dress from River Island caught my eye as the oversized shoulders will cinch in the waistline whilst being complimentary. Also the tie up detail over the bust makes it a modest dress for those ladies with a bigger bust. It would look lush with some gold accessories or some wedges!

Karen Millen Floral Smocked Beaded Detail Swing Dress – £139.00*

Karen Millen always have some gorgeous dresses. They are more expensive however the quality is impeccable and they are built around having a timeless aesthetic. This is more of a summery style, and I loved the green as I felt it was a bit different to the other floral designs.

Karen Millen Silk Cotton Meadow Floral Pintuck Dress – £259.00*

This is a dress that I have actually had my eye on for ages. The yellow is just breathtaking and for a different style the high neck would make it a good winter wedding guest outfit too. The yellow would be really flattering as it is the first colour the eye sees. I would pair it with some white details to make it extra angelic.

Missguided Khaki Mesh Ruched Bardot Midi Dress – £42.00*

I realised I hadn’t included any more fitted dresses in this so here is one which I think would suit a wedding. I will keep you in, in all the right areas. However it is also not too revealing for a wedding. The off the shoulder design is also a highlight.

Missguided Cream Linen Mix Cut Out Milkmaid Mini Dress – £30.00*

I really thought this minimalist dress was a stand out star for this blog post. Not everyone likes a floral prints, and prefers to stay minimal. This is a great option as it is really cute, and the design of the front just give the dress a little something something. To add some detail you could add a beige fascinator.

Arket Floral Tier Dress – £99.00

Last but by no means least is this gorgeous Arket dress. A bit of a boho chic style of dress and cottage core aesthetic. Arket pieces are often very timeless making it a good year after year option if you like a pastel colour palette.
