I bought these linen trousers from H&M last year and they have made a pivotal item in my wardrobe. Last year I went through one of those moods of ‘I haven’t got anything to wear for summer’ because I have always preferred winter dressing over summer dressing. But I did need to do a summer shop because lockdown or no lockdown I couldn’t have spent last summer with the heat that it was in joggers and jumpers. I bought most of my summer items last year from H&M and the majority of it was linen. Looking at some summer linen looks now, they are just as on trend and the styles are very similar, making linen a good investment piece for your summer wardrobe.
The best thing about linen in the summer is that its nice, light and easy to wear in hotter temperatures. Linen shirts can make a great throw on item over a bikini, or body suit. And oversized linen shirts can make a perfect casual staple that can be styled on jeans, shorts, or doubled up for a double linen look with linen trousers. I opted to style these linen trousers with this white scallop top and some white sandals. Another look I love styling them with include a knitted cami I got from H&M last year too.
