The last time I physically went to a Zara shop was September when Jack and I did a bit of a shopping day out in Bristol. My closest Zara is about 45 mins from me, so when the shops are open its not one I get the opportunity to go to all the time. However I do love Zara and the quality of their clothing. When I went in with Jack, I picked up a pair of knitted trousers but I was very close to buy a hoodie in the men’s section purely because of how soft it was. And for some reason I haven’t even done an online order since, so I thought I would have a look on their website and see what pieces the had new in for spring to do a Zara spring 2021 haul for you.
First up is the Knit Midi Dress. I just love the idea of a knitted dress like this for spring. When we can finally have people over for BBQ’s, or are able to go out for the day this will be the perfect option as it can be dressed up or down easily. I would definitely recommend sizing down if you want a body con fit like I have – I actually ended up tying it at the back because I ordered mine too big. However the fabric is a lovely quality, it is so soft and the vertical ribbed style will just elongate you and be so flattering.
I managed to spy this dress before it sold out – so if you want this then keep an eye out because currently Zara is restocking completely randomly. However this dress is so worth it. Possibly one of the most flattering dresses I have tried on. If you are looking for *the* dress for the 21st of June (the end of lockdown for those not in the UK) then this is the one. Quite often when people think shirt dresses they imagine something quite baggy, loose and unflattering. But the knot detail in the front just cinches that waist in and creates a gorgeous silhouette.
I hate to be that blogger who tags something that is out of stock, however this gorgeous printed summer dress that I picked up is now out of stock. When I went to order it there was only a Large in stock, so I retried the next morning and luckily there was a Small in stock. I am so glad I picked this dress up because honestly it is one of the prettiest summer dresses now in my wardrobe. I have a few black and white maxi dresses – so I did hesitate on keeping it – however it was just too pretty not to.
This jumper is one that I have seen floating around Instagram and I so wanted to get my hands on it. I actually ended up sending it back, because I am going to try and get a medium in it instead. I prefer my jumpers more on the oversized end of the scale, where as this was a small on me and was a good fit, but not my preference. However the collar and pocket detailing are so cute, and its also quite light so perfect for when the temperature is that mid point where you want something more than a t-shirt.
I absolutely fell in love with this cardigan online and when I tried it on. In fact I am wearing it as I type this. I love how chic is it yet how comfortable too. Just a really lovely though on piece with a pair of jeans or leggings and simple footwear. I can see me wearing it a lot. There are also matching leggings which I tried to get my hands on but were sold out at the time. But I will say on the website it looks khaki, but it is more of a mauve/mink colour. But it is super easy to style and I love the tie detail around the waist.
I saw this shirt on @iamcharlotteolivia on Instagram and I really wanted to try it. I used to have a blue shirt from Primark which I fell a bit out of love with, so I wasn’t sure if I would keep this or not. But I have because I was so impressed with how soft it was, and I realised how versatile it was. It will be perfect for throwing on top of a bikini on holiday or in the garden if the weather gets hotter. Or styling with white or blue jeans and a pair of dad sandals for going out and about. The perfect layering piece.
