It is here! Albeit not how we all expected Christmas to look this year. But it is still here. And what a year. WHAT A YEAR. I have been a bit quiet on my blog this December. It has been a manic month, with collaborations, a mountain of uni work, my birthday, and a pandemic to add to the mix. So I am looking forward to having the day off to spend with my family. This will be my last post of 2020, and so this is the Christmas sign off.
We have achieved some amazing things this year, despite everything that has happened. But remember success is relative, and don’t compare yours to others because even getting up this year, and out of bed is a success.
I managed to set up my business and get some clients on board, all before turning 21. I have been able to turn my blog and Instagram into my full-time job – for now. But I live at home so my outgoings are relatively low which I am fortunate for. And I realised that sometimes it is the simplest things in life, like a long walk which makes a day a good one.
I know we now don’t get to spend Christmas with loved ones, and we can only hope that next year will be better. So whatever you do this Christmas, whether its sitting in front of films, or getting glammed up, I hope you enjoy it as best as you can. Or if it just means a day off then relax, sleep in and have a chilled day.
