Hello, 21. It’s my 21st birthday today. Twenty-one years old. The big birthday where I thought I was going to have a birthday party at my local rugby club, with all my friends and family. But this year had other plans, and like the majority of people, I will be having a COVID birthday. It is just so crazy how fast this year has gone, as it only feels like last month since I turned 20 and spent my birthday at a Christmas market with my closest family friends. If I am being completely honest I have no idea how this birthday will plan out. I haven’t got any major plans other than spending it with my boyfriend. But I am just grateful for that in some ways.
But what I can be certain of is that there will probably be lots of food, and drink and then a trip to Bath. All before the Christmas celebrations have even properly started. But fingers crossed that chapter 21 will lead me to all the opportunities I missed this year, and progress on the opportunities I was fortunate to get this year.

Happy birthday! i think we are all used to having Covid birthdays this year, so you aren’t alone although I’m sure it’s sad you can’t have the party you had planned! I think the birthday celebrations when all this is over will be bigger and better than ever, haha!
