I posted a little graphic on my Instagram story yesterday about any suggestions for small businesses to support during Lockdown 2.0 and the response was so amazing. For any business, a second lockdown could be heartbreaking. That overwhelming feeling that you have just survived the first and here we are again. I totally get it as I have my own business. But also right in front of our eyes we are seeing hundreds of small businesses shut indefinitely and its so upsetting to see. Not just because it has a huge economic impact for those involved and the country, but also because they were people’s hopes and dreams.
There is so much uncertainty and with the closure of places at the most valuable time of year. The festive period would usually hold so much hope and just a chance of recovery from the first lockdown. But just when everyone will be buying Christmas presents, going for Christmas meals or celebrating New Years, everywhere is shut again.
Combining your responses and my own research I have put together a list of places that you should think about perhaps supporting this festive period. Whether thats buying Christmas presents online, buying gift cards to use in the future, or simply sharing them on your instagram or facebook pages. Sometimes all it takes is to follow their social media and interact with their content. If you have any more suggestions then feel free to leave them in the comments below, or message me on Instagram and I will add them in!

Me too! Need to get all my Christmas presents!
I will definitely be checking out these small businesses! Thanks for sharing! I have started to support more small businesses too because so many corporations just care about money and treat their employees poorly 🙁 I recently bought some sheet masks from a local beauty business as well as some candles from another small business!
