Jeans To Push You Out Of Your Comfort Zone

Because if these star print jeans don’t push me out of my styling comfort zone then I don’t know what will… but I love it.

Disclaimer ~ The jeans featured were gifted by Loavies but I was under no obligation to post a blog post about them.

I have always been one for a bit of denim in an outfit. You know, some denim, a baggy tee – a basic look that you really can’t go wrong with. I love being able to trial different outfits around jeans as they are simply my go to wardrobe item. I have always been more of a trouser than skirt kinda girl. But I have always gone for the same type of jeans. Either the skinny black jean or the blue straight leg jean. I just get that hunch that I need to branch out a little bit more. Something that will push me out of the little jean comfort zone that I have gotten into.

If there was one pair of jeans that could push me out of my comfort zone it has to be these Loavies Side To Side Jeans. These off white star print flared jeans are a statement and a half. But I had to try them because there was something about them that I just bloody loved. These jeans are a nice casual fit that really elongates the leg.

I have never tried flare jeans before, however I have a pair of jersey flared trousers from Topshop which I adore and they look so damn cool with a sweatshirt, so I knew the shape would suit me. I think the print is really cool – think retro cross with David Bowie vibes. The flared style of them are really flattering in the areas you want it to flatter. Then the wider ankle just finishes the look.

I styled mine with a plain black tee, and some chunky black boots because it just fits the casual look really well. Because of the off-white shade, matching them with colour might be tricky, however a pop of red would really hit it off with the Bowie aesthetic.

Over time I really want to build a sort of jean collection, with a range of styles, to really develop the affair I have going with jeans. From wide legged, to balloon jeans I want them all. From the out there to the grab and through a hoodie on pair.

I have left a selection of jeans below that might push you out of your comfort zone a bit. But I say go for it!

I love those jeans…they look really comfy! I’ve never tried the flared style before, but I might just have to check these out. The boldest i’ve been with jeans is coloured denim, I think I had them in coral and a mint green colour…loved them!

I love these jeans on you, they are so cute! I quite like to try the balloon leg trend but fear it may put me out of proportion as i’m 5ft 4inch. I hope you are doing well : ) xo

Nooo I think you could pull them off! Remember most people on Instagram wearing trends you see are probably the same height if not small than you!
