Jeans are a necessity in any wardrobe right?? And we all stick to the same type of jean from the same shop right?? Well I defo do and I thought because I am so loyal and don’t like wearing any jeans that ARE NOT the same style I had to do a post about them.
I have a small collection of jeans with 80% being Topshop Jamie Jeans. YES JAME JEANS. I know that Topshop are v famous for their Joni jeans but I have never actually tried them. I have always been a bit of a Jamie fan.
The Jamie jeans are high waisted (pretty much a no brainer for me) and they are also ankle grazers. I used to have other jeans that were much longer in the leg so I would roll them up anyway. Don’t get me wrong I love the rolled-up-boating-look but why bother when I can buy jeans the length I want them??
I have always l.o.v.e.d the fact that the Jamie jeans have a bit of a stretch in them. You can sometimes find with new jeans you have to do the ‘new jean walk’ because the denim is still stiff and you end up walking with straight legs looking like you have wet yourself (LOL). But the Jamie jeans fit really nice and stretch to allow movement so no awkward walks.
I think my first pair were my ripped pair of jeans – yes I paid more for rips…. but everyone owns a pair of ripped jeans right??. I then go a blue pair of V ripped ones, followed by non-ripped black and blue Jamie jeans, so I have a good little collection building.
To me, I feel most comfortable with high waisted jeans because it keeps everything in and I can tuck my tops in nicely. I just feel more secure… if you get me??
What jeans do you go for??
