As you can probably tell from the photos and the title of the blog post that my and the boyf went to Bills last night for tea! We coordinated it with late night shopping too so we did treat ourselves a little bit. I bought myself a few bits and bobs from the Lush Easter selection – I know I couldn’t help myself (blog post coming soon…). I also bought a new book “Everything Everything” which I have been DYING to read so I am glad I picked it up! Gaz got a CD from HMV too.
But the most exciting part (the bit I was really looking forward to if you can’t tell) was that our little dinner date to Bills. Bills kindly contacted me the other day talking about their Earth Day celebrations. Unfortunately I have work on Earth Day ~~ FFS ~~ so I couldn’t attend what Bills have in store. At 8:30 on the 24th they are turning their lights off for Earth Day and you can have a candle lit dinner! How cool! But instead we went last night and it was LuShHhHhH!!
I had a chocolate brownie milkshake – the same which I had when we went for breakfast – and Gaz had the cider. Both of which were vV good. For starters we both had the breaded halloumi and we both agreed that it was insane. I had the Bills burger with extra bacon and cheese because why not and Gaz had the Macaroni Cheese with bacon. Gaz’s favorite meal ever is the Mac and cheese calzone from Frankie and Benny’s however according to him this was even better… so that’s a major plus right?!
For pudding I had the warm chocolate brownie (think about the gooiest and best chocolate brownie and it was that) and Gaz had the Apple and Blackberry Crumble. The service was amazing too so thank you for Harriet for treating us like stars!
I also really love just the environment of Bills, good food, good music, good interiors it’s just BRILL.
