I Have Made New Year Resolutions…

IMG_7633
I NEVER keep resolutions. Like sometimes I think what is even the point in them?! Why do people make them hardly anybody keeps them and by the time spring and summer comes you can’t even remember what is was. I think I did a New Year Resolutions post last year and it probably had those typical ‘I am going to go to the gym, I am going to eat healthy’ kinda blah blah blah rubbish in it. This one might have a bit of that in it too but I am going to put a reminder on my phone for every three months and I will do a blog post three times this year to see how I get on. DEDICATED OR WHAT?
So my realistic resolutions are as follows…

Go To The Gym Twice A Week

Yes I know I just said that I won’t have any of that gym BS in my resolution list but I am just going to put it in there because this IS realistic for me as I already sort of do this – I just want to stop skipping it so much. I want to go TWICE a week EVERY week, no excuses. Bikini bod here I come…jks.

Save Up For A MacBook Pro

If you know me you know I can’t save my money very well. But gone are the days where I only have 80p to my name and hello SavingSavvyEmily. I am very close to being able to afford a Macbook which is vV exciting as it means I have saved up over £1000 which I have never done before.

Eat What I Want And Not Feel Guilty

The last two days I have been debating whether to do that New Year diet everyone does because I have eaten more than double my weight in chocolate and food this Christmas, however I have decided to SCREW THAT DIET. I won’t be happy doing it. I am going to maintain a good gym routine, and it will allow me to eat what I want… obvs in consideration I am not going to eat maccies every day and night… but I don’t want to have to feel restricted or guilty. Plus I want to build up muscle, and by being on a diet it actually makes it harder.

Become More Confident With My Driving

I COMPLETED one of my goals before 2018 which was to pass my freakin’ driving test WHOOP WHOOP! But now I have passed I am sharing a car with my mum,  #cantaffordmyown, and so I don’t get to drive a huge amount. I am quite scared about driving places I haven’t been or parking but it is just practice practice and more practice. I WILL conquer that reverse bay park!!
I am only going to make four – I don’t want to overload myself. But I will give an update in April to let you know how I am getting a long with my resolutions.
What resolutions have you made?!?

Good luck with all of your resolutions! I have been driving for a year and a half now, but have only parallel parked about 3 times so I’m now really nervous about it! I want to become more confident in my parallel parking x

Love your resolutions <3 I've had my license for 6 months and I'm still nervous when driving to new places, but it really does get easier. This year my resolutions are to write more and better care for the environment.
